    - First Japanese Affiliate Information webpage [AffiliateINDEX]
2000 June

- Japanese largest (in terms of the number of Affiliate sites) [A8.net] started its service.
  August - Largest Japanese Affiliate Information webpage [ChanceMaker.net (now AffiliatePortal.net)] opened.
2001 March

- Japanese top trading company [MITSUI & CO., LTD.] and US [LinkShare] established [LinkShare Japan] division (not a company this time yet).
- Japanese A.S.P. [AccessTrade] started its service.
  April - Japanese A.S.P. [TrafficGate] started its service.
2002 February - Japanese A.S.P. [DenNouOroshi (meaning "Cyber Market")] started its sercie.
2003 May - Japanese largest online shopping mall [Rakuten,Inc.] started its direct affiliate service [Rakuten Affiliate].
  July

- First Affiliate event [Affiliate Conference] was held in Tokyo.
  August - Japanese A.S.P. [JANet] started its service.
  November - [Second Affiliate Conference] was held in Tokyo.
2004 June - [Third Affiliate Conference] was held in Tokyo, and more than 100 affiliaters participated.
  November - [Fourth Affiliate Conference] was held in Tokyo, and more than 200 affiliaters participated.
  December - A.S.P. [DenNouOroshi] held [World Number 1 Contest] on crusing boat.
2005 January - A.S.P. [LinkShare] became independent company.
  April - A.S.P. [LinkShare] held [LinkShare Trading Fair] in Tokyo, attracted more than 300 affiliaters.
